Panthers Rally Past CHS Wrestlers

The Central wrestling team opened its season on Dec. 6 with a trip to neighboring Northern Bedford.

NBC won all seven of the heavier weightclasses on its way to a come-from-behind 49-27 victory. The Dragons won the opening four matches and led 21-0 early.

NB’s Kyler States (160 pounds), Colby Imler (170), Dakota Korzec (182), Kainen Brown (185) and Derek Beach (285) each earned falls for the Black Panthers. Brady Clark (152) won by major decision at 152 pounds, while Caleb Wright won by forfeit at 220.
