Fire at Hollidaysburg Townhouse Complex Displaces 12 Families

At least a dozen families were left homeless after fire ripped through the Country Club Terrace Townhouses in Hollidaysburg on Friday, Dec. 13.

Geeseytown Volunteer Fire Company initially responded to the alarm at approximately 1 p.m.

The alarm was quickly upgraded to a four-alarm fire, prompting assistance from multiple area fire stations.

Firefighters encountered heavy smoke and fire on the third floor of the structure and cut a hole in the roof for ventilation.
