In the November 2019 report, Pennsylvania Department of Health nursing home surveyors conducted 484 inspections of 333 nursing homes, including 303 complaint investigations.

In addition, 22 sanctions were finalized against nursing care facilities, which included the issuance of two provisional one licenses and three provisional two licenses, and civil penalties totaling $229,500.
