I am not one of those parents. For years proud parents have sent out Christmas letters (or posts) with updates on their family and all the accomplishments of their children. My sons are fine young men, but I know better than to brag about them. So I won't mention that my oldest son was one of the stars of his high school musical. Why would I even state that my younger son is one of the best players on his basketball team? Maybe I am a little like one of those parents.
