Like gifts that can't be seen, some gifts can't be wrapped either. A pretty, little snow to cover our drab dormancy is a gift. Perhaps highway travelers don't class a freezing rain as a gift, but it was so sparkly and glittering, like ribbons on our brown, bare trees.
