Catharine Twp. Re-Dedicates 2020 Ambulance Service Budget to Its Reserve Fund

“You can’t continue to operate without raising millage, or you’re going to face bankruptcy,” Catharine Township Auditor Daryl Cole told the township supervisors during the regular meeting last Thursday evening, Dec. 21.

“You have no reserve and you can’t put weight on grants,” Cole said.

Cole made note of the $20,000 deficit between real and projected numbers in the budget regarding payroll. Supervisors cited paying for two secretaries in the last year as the reason for a higher than expected payroll, which totaled more than $67,000.
