M-burg Chooses Dickson as President

Martinsburg Borough Council elected a new president during its reorganizational meeting Monday, Jan. 6.
P. Robert Dickson will lead the council in 2020. He was nominated by Durban D. Metzler, which was seconded by Charles E. Kensinger. Dickson was the lone nomination for council president.
Dickson replaces Connie S. Lamborn as leader of council. Lamborn, who served as president of council 10 of her 12 years of service, did not seek re-election in 2019.
"I will do my best to keep things running smoothly," Dickson said. "Please bare with me, this is something new for me."
