MUNICIPAL

DUI

Shad Hillegass, 24, of Roaring Spring, was arrested on Dec. 2 for suspected DUI. State Police, Hollidaysburg, responded to a crash on Dick School House Road and suspected Hillegass to be under the influence. Hillegass was transported to Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, Roaring Spring, for a blood draw.

Theft

State Police, Hollidaysburg, are investigating the theft of car parts from a vehicle along Bloomfield Road, Taylor Township, Blair County, sometime between Nov. 17 and Dec. 4. The victim, a 26-year-old Martinsburg woman, reported the battery stolen from her 2002 Honda Civic.

Single-Vehicle Crash

State Police, Hollidaysburg, responded to a single-vehicle crash along Interstate 99, Allegheny Township, Blair County on Dec. 18. Police said a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander driven by Natasha M. Gibbons, 23, of Williamsburg, was traveling south on Interstate 99 when she lost control on icy roadways and struck a guardrail. No injuries were reported.

Disorderly Conduct

Joseph Feather, 49, of Claysburg, and Chase Shaffer, 22, of Schellsburg, were charged by State Police, Hollidaysburg, with disorderly conduct for an incident along North Dakota Lane, Pavia Township, Bedford County, on Dec. 29.

Strangulation

Ryan Nixon, 26, of Waterside, has been charged by State Police, Bedford, with strangling a 48-year-old Woodbury man at a residence along Lodge Street, Woodbury Borough, Bedford County, on Dec. 30.
