CHS Improves Record to 9-3

The Central Dragons visited Tussey Mountain on Dec. 23. In a tight and hard-fought game at Tussey Mountain on Dec. 23, the Central boys’ basketball team came up one point shy, falling 58-57.

The Dragons took a slim 16-14 lead after one quarter and led 37-34 at halftime. The Titans consistently hit long three-point shots to keep the game close.

The defenses took control after intermission with Tussey Mountain outscoring the Dragons 16-12 to lead by a point entering the final eight minutes. Both teams were held to eight points in the final quarter with Tussey surviving.
