The Claysburg-Kimmel girls’ basketball team outscored visiting Southern Huntingdon by three points in the fourth quarter to escape with a 61-58 victory on Jan. 6.
The Lady Bulldogs had a 17-7 first-quarter lead before Southern Huntingdon closed the first half on a 21-11 run. Each team scored 15 points in the third quarter.
Megan Hartman tied for game-high honors with 28 points to lead C-K. She had four of the team’s six 3-pointers. Rebekah Claar and Bailey Garver added 11 and 10 points, respectively, in the win.
