The Bedford County Board of Commissioners recently passed a Resolution designating Saturday, July 18, 2020, as Captain Phillips Rangers Massacre Day. On this date the Frontier Patriots Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution will hold a " Ceremony of Remembrance" at the site of the Phillips' Rangers Memorial in Liberty Township, Bedford County. A full schedule of this event will be forthcoming.
The Frontier Patriots Chapter encompasses the counties of Bedford, Blair, Clearfield and Huntingdon.
