Welfare Council to Meet Jan. 24

The Blair County Health and Welfare Council will meet from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 24, at The Arc of Blair County.

The speakers will be attorneys from MidPenn Legal Services. Attorney Evangeline Wright will speak on what their Low-Income Tax Clinic does, common issues that low-income and ESL individuals may encounter in filing personal income tax returns and easy ways to identify “red flags” among clients that may indicate a need for their Tax Clinic Services.
