C-K Wrestles Lose 3 Dual Meets

The Claysburg-Kimmel wrestling team was forced to forfeit six matches during a 54-27 loss at Mount Union on Jan. 14.

The Bulldogs also lost three matches by fall.

C-K’s Cade Keithley and Kobe Harr each pinned their opponent at 145 and 170 pounds, respectively.

Cole Claycomb earned a decision at 132 pounds, while Blaine Deremer and Zach McGeary won by forfeit at 106 and 152 pounds, respectively.

NBC 49, C-K 22

At C-K on Jan. 16, Northern Bedford was aided by seven forfeits en route to a 49-22 victory.

The Black Panthers won the first six bouts by forfeit – Dakota Korzec (182 pounds), Kainen Brown (195), Kolin McNamara (220), Phillip Kline (285), Reyan Imler (106) and Griffin Keller (120).

NB’s Tristin Pepple scored a 5-1 decision over Hunter Knisely at 126 pounds that made it 39-0.

After C-K’s Cole Claycomb pinned Lucas Heck in 4:30 at 132 pounds, NB’s Ian Sherlock was a winner by major decision, 16-8, over Cade Keithley at 138 pounds.

C-K made it 43-22 as Zach McGeary won by forfeit at 145 pounds Levi Brown pinned Brady Clark in 2:19 at 152 pounds and Kobe Harr scored a 14-2 major decision win against Kyler States at 160 pounds.

NB’s Colby Imler won by forfeit at 170 pounds.

There was no match at 113 pounds.

Tussey 39, C-K 15

At C-K on Jan. 17, four forfeits helped Tussey Mountain secure a 39-15 victory. The Bulldogs’ Levi Brown won by fall at 152 pounds, Kobe Harr by forfeit at 160 and Cole Claycomb by decision at 132 pounds.

In addition to the forfeits, the Titans also won by fall, disqualification and decision.

There were no matches at 170, 182, 195 and 120 pounds.
