West Branch handed the Williamsburg boys’ basketball team its first Inter-County Conference loss on Jan. 13, 61-47.
The Blue Pirates led 28-26 at halftime, but West Branch went on a 35-19 run in the second half en route to the victory.
Lambert Palmer and Shane Brantner each scored eight points for the Blue Pirates. Drew Hileman added seven points, while Josiah Dowey and Adam Uplinger each tossed in six points.

At Williamsburg on Jan. 16, the Blue Pirates jumped out to a 27-19 lead at halftime against Bellwood-Antis and cruised to a 56-37 victory. Williamsburg outscored B-A 29-18 in the second half.
Josiah Dowey paced the Blue Pirates with 14 points, including three 3-pointers. Lambert Palmer added 11 points and 16 rebounds.
