For 17.95 years, to be exact, Kathy Yeager has been a familiar face within the Williamsburg School District.
For many of those years, she was the high school secretary. During the Williamsburg School District Board meeting last Tuesday evening, her letter of retirement was accepted, with regret. Yeager will retire officially on June 30, 2020.
Steve Butler was appointed as the new Williamsburg track and field head coach, pending clearances. April Wheland was appointed as the assistant coach. Logan McKee resigned as the assistant junior high baseball coach, effective immediately.
The school board also adopted the audit report for 2018-19 as prepared by the accounting firm of Young, Oakes and Brown of Altoona.
