Blue Pirates Crush St. Joe's

The Williamsburg High School boys’ basketball team raced to a 21-point halftime lead against Saint Joseph Catholic Academy on Jan. 21 and cruised to a 74-51 victory.

The Blue Pirates led 17-6 after one quarter and pushed it to 36-15 at the break. WHS had the scoring edge in the second half 38-36.

Shane Brantner led Williamsburg with 18 points and added 13 rebounds. Lambert Palmer scored 14 points to go along with 18 rebounds, three assists and three steals, while Drew Hileman added 12 points, including two 3-pointers. Josiah Dowey handed out four assists.
