Hot-Shooting NB Tops Glendale

Northern Bedford’s boys’ basketball team rode some hot shooting to a 76-50 win at Glendale in an inter-divisional contest on Jan. 22.

The Panthers got out to a 40-25 lead by halftime and cruised to the victory.

“We played pretty well and it was good to get a second consecutive win,” NB coach Randy Meck said.

Caleb Diehl, Haden Foor and Thad Leidy each had 17 points for the Panthers, while Dakota Claar chipped in with 12.

“We had good balanced scoring and played better on the defensive end than we have been,” Meck continued.
