She thought that kindness could even spread all over the world because of her dedication to helping Tanisha.

THE MOST MAGNIFICENT THING

By Ashley Spires

In "The Most Magnificent Thing," a girl tries desperately over and over again to make the most magnificent thing. She tries but fails many times. When she finally comes upon all the wrong things she failed on but realizes that people were liking and taking the wrong things she made. She gets inspiration from that and tinkers with more pieces. Finally, the most magnificent thing happens. She got inspired and she finally makes the right thing, the most magnificent thing.

Easy readers –

Inspiring for young readers and any age!

Patience and perseverance can make a big difference. "In the Most Magnificent Thing," one little girl sets out to make what she believes will be the most amazing thing. She makes many things, but they just aren't the right things. After making many wrong things, she thinks about giving up. After she calmed down, she saw the things she had done right and she tried again. She knew she could do what she set out to do. And in the end, she had made right things. Others noticed her wrong things and thought they were pretty magnificent, because for them, they were the right things. Finally, she made her most magnificent thing.

In "Be Kind!" a little girl tries to understand what being kind means. When her classmate spills juice on herself in front of the class and gets upset, Tanisha wants to make her feel better. She believes that if she shows kindness, others may be encouraged to pass the kindness along to more people. She thinks about all the ways she could show kindness to others and how that could make a difference, not just to that person, but all across town, the country, even the world! Two simple words can change the world: Be Kind.

Children (and readers of all ages) might also enjoy other positive additions to our easy reader section such as "Grumpy Pants," "Be Who You Are," and "The Big Umbrella." Not only are they good stories filled with imaginative artwork, they also encourage helpfulness, teach good behavior, and encourage positivity.
