CHS Falls in First Round of Duals

The Central Dragon wrestlers dropped a pair of competitive non-league meets last week. Central fell to both Richland and Bellwood-Antis.

Richland 48, CHS 30

On Jan. 29 at Richland, the Dragons won six of the 14 matches – four by fall, in the first round of the District 6 Class 2A Duals. Michael Fowkes (41 seconds), Ethan Eicher (52) and Jaxon Matthews (35) ended their matches in less than one minute, while Ian Couch took just 2:40. Tyler Hess (7-4) and Tanner Hall (4-3) each won by decision.
