Forshey, Taylor Wed In Williamsport, Pa.

Lauren Elizabeth Taylor and Luke Allen Forshey were united in marriage on Saturday, July 27 2019, at the First United Methodist Church in Williamsport. Pastor Janet Durrwachter officiated at the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Michelle Taylor of Williamsport and Scott Taylor of Cogan Station. The groom is the son of Dale and Stacey Forshey of Harrisburg and the grandson of Dean and Isabelle Forshey of Martinsburg and Carol and Pete Imler of Roaring Spring.

Julia and Lindsey Taylor, sisters of the bride, served as maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Caitlin Chappell, Suzanna Esther Duiker, and Rebekah Forshey and Annie Morris, sisters of the groom.

Matt Wood, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Aaron Neal, Joseph Taylor, Matt Deliberty, Sam Liu and Tyler Morris.

The bride is a 2013 graduate of Williamsport Area High School and received her bachelor's degree in music education from Penn State in 2017. She is currently employed at Hanover Public School District as the middle and high school orchestra director.

The groom is a 2011 graduate of Lower Dauphin High School and received his bachelor's degree in music education from Messiah College in 2015. After teaching in Indonesia for two years, he is currently employed as a middle school music teacher and choral director at East Pennsboro School District.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Italy, Switzerland and France. They now reside in York.
