Trump Disrespected the National Anthem

To the Editor:

By now, many of you have seen the video clip of President Trump and Melania at Mar-a-Lago on Feb. 2, 2020, preparing to watch the Super Bowl with a group of people.

While the National Anthem is being played, Trump is mugging for the crowd, pointing to people, and pretending to direct the music. So much for showing even a modicum of respect. At least Melania is standing at attention, hand over heart. Most immigrants do love and respect this country, after all.
