NBC Rally Comes Up Short on Road

Despite a furious fourth-quarter rally, Northern Bedford came up on the short end of a 39-33 loss at McConnellsburg on Feb. 4 in girls’ high school basketball action.

The Lady Panthers outscored the Lady Spartans 15-4 in the fourth quarter, but it was six points short of what they needed.

“We can’t afford to get behind by double digits and expect to win,” NB coach Jon Ewart said. “Our inconsistent offensive output has really hurt us.”

The Lady Panthers were down 35-18 entering the fourth period.

Allie Snider scored 12 points to lead Northern.
