CHS to Perform "Shy Guy"

The students of CHS Drama Club will perform “Shy Guy,” starring Kirby Clark, Cindy Ogden and Steve Mayhue. The production is being directed by Miss Jane Dibert.

Tom Ringler and Tom Booth are directing Claysburg-Kimmel’s performance of “Carousel.” Billy Bigelow will be played by Dan Gordon and Julie Jorlon will be played by Racheal Kurtz.

The United States Envelope Co., including two plants in Williamsburg, reports gains in sales and earnings for the quarter ended Jan. 31.

Williamsburg Women’s Civic Club announced the winners of the sewing contest. Cathy Nash won first place and Marianne Stultz won second place. Both ladies will compete in the Blair County Sewing Contest.

Paul A. Turner and K. Raymond Earnest are taking Navy basic training together at the Naval Training Center in San Diego. Paul is a 1968 CHS graduate and Raymond is a 1967 CHS graduate.

Mrs. Mamie Teeter will observe her 80th birthday on Saturday, March 7.
