Williamsburg has qualified for the 2020 PIAA Class 1A Boys' Basketball Championship. The Blue Pirates (15-8) will travel to Saint Mary's High School on Friday, March 6, to battle District 9 runner-up Cameron County (20-5). Tip-off for the first-round matchup is scheduled for 6 p.m.
The Blue Pirate Nation came out to support its team during the District 6 Class 1A boys' basketball championship game between Bishop Carroll Catholic and Williamsburg on Wednesday night, Feb. 26, at Mount Aloysius College in Cresson. Bishop Carroll prevailed 67-47.
