Darla J. Shaw, 78, of Newry, formerly of McKee, died Sunday morning, March 15, 2020, at UPMC Altoona after a one-year battle with leukemia.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Darla was born on Aug. 8, 1941, in McKee, the daughter of the late Eugene and Mildred (Teeter) Decker.

She married Barry L. Shaw on Aug. 12, 1961, in Winchester, Va. He preceded her in death on July 17, 1998.
