ALTOONA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA March and April's Concerts CANCELLED

Series: Coronavirus | Story 61

The ALTOONA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, under the direction of Maestra Teresa Cheung, has made the decision to cancel both the March concert "The Voice of Deliverance" which was originally scheduled for March 21, 2020, but postponed, and the April concert "Lasting Inspiration" scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2020, due to serious concerns over the spreading COVID19 Virus and in compliance with orders for non-essential businesses to close.

The Altoona Symphony Orchestra recognizes the fact that many patrons have purchased tickets for the upcoming March and April concerts. While the schedule for the May Pops concert "A Salute to the Boston Pops" is still uncertain, please know that ticket holders will be able to use their existing tickets for the March/ April concerts to exchange for general admittance to any upcoming concert held outside the Mishler Theatre, OR as a voucher to purchase a ticket from the Mishler Theatre box office for any Altoona Symphony Concert held at the Mishler through May 2021. Patrons may also choose to donate the purchase amount of their ticket to the Altoona Symphony Orchestra as a tax-deductible donation. A receipt of said donation will be administered. Questions please call 814-943-2500.
