Power Reunion Recognizes Members at Awards Banquet

The Southern Cove Power Reunion held its annual awards banquet on Feb. 29 at the Southern Cove Fire Hall in New Enterprise.

Approximately 200 people were in attendance.

President Jessica Bothell welcomed attendees, and prayer was given by Bob Detwiler.

Roy Kegg was the master of ceremonies and explained the group now has volunteer committees members may sign up for. Also, he gave a big thank you to all of the members. This year there were more than 1,000 tractor pulls.

Club officers were introduced: Jessica Bothell, president; Jason Hileman, first vice president; Fred Mellot, second vice president; Melanie Clapper, secretary; Jennifer Clouse, membership secretary; and Beth Eshelman, treasurer.

The board of directors is comprised of Bob Detwiler (2020); Cy Mellot (2020); Clinton Clark (2021); Jeremy Shope (2021); George Dell (2022); and Roy Kegg (2022).

Closing comments were given by Fred Mellot, who thanked the auxillary for the meal.
