Ice Cream Store Opens

In spite of the inclemency of the weather, a number of the people of our Valley gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fleetwood Brumbaugh to welcome them into our midst. During the evening, the Fair Valley Social Club was organized for the purpose of becoming better acquainted and advancing community spirit.

In Mines, a great slide of earth closed the water course of the clay mines here. The steam shovel will be put to work on the slide and the water course opened as soon as possible.

Mrs. Susie Baker has returned to her apartments in the stone house of Mrs. Smouse.
