Why the Articles in Spanish?

About a month ago, the Herald started publishing two articles per week in Spanish.

We’ve gotten several calls and notes about the articles. Most of them, about 90 percent, have been congratulatory and supportive. A few have not.

So I’m taking time today to explain why the Herald is publishing some stories in Spanish.
