Plans are nearing completion for Memorial Day. Committees to have charge of the various parts of the program were named. H.H. Lykens is to be the master of ceremonies and C. Guy Barley named chief marshal of the parade.

A spirited primary campaign is drawing to a close as the primaries close next Tuesday. Chief interest centered in the Republican nomination for congress.
