Employees of Champion Home Builders Co. at Claysburg walked off the job at 3:30 p.m., Friday and have been on strike since then.

The Spring Cove School Board adopted its 1970-71 budget by a split vote Monday night.

The Walter Wareham barn in upper Snake Spring Valley was destroyed by fire Tuesday. Damage was more than $25,000.
