Lifeguard Training

Red Cross certified lifeguard trainer Jenelle Lockard gives instructions to the 2020 guards of Hershberger Memorial Pool in Martinsburg on Saturday May 30. The pool will open for the season today. Pool hours through Aug. 23 will be 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday though Sunday. The pool will be open through Labor Day Weekend.

Today, June 4, the Park reopens after an 11 week closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
