Animals With Needs Get Some 'Love' During Pandemic

Lincoln is one of the Blair County Humane Society pets who relies on prescription food. The Blair County Humane Society is asking for donations to help take care of animals with special needs.

One of the community organizations hit hard by COVID-19 has been the Blair County Humane Society.

With the cancellation of key fundraising events and the recent vandalism, the Humane Society has been operating on a tight budget, focusing what money it has on sustaining core needs. That meant that a segment of the animals, those with special needs, would have to go without.

The organization is asking for the kind of help recently provided by Saleme Insurance of Altoona.
