GLENN 'BILL' GLASS

Glenn “Bill” Glass, 81, of Roaring Spring, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at home.

He was born on Sept. 15, 1938, in Henrietta, the son of the late Jesse and Anna (Quarry) Glass.

He was married to Dorothy (Johnson) Geist Glass for 48 years.

He is survived by his wife; four stepchildren: Clyde Geist of Roaring Spring, Cheryl Geist of East Freedom, Rodney Geist of Blue Knob and Gloria Barnhill of Florida; five step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; and one step-great-great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by a stepson, Gary Geist; a brother, Robert Glass; and a half-brother, Roger Quarry.

Bill retired from the road crew for Taylor Township and had previously been employed for 13 years as an electrician at Blair Electric.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting his guns.

At Bill's request, there will be no viewing or services. Interment will be made in Diehl’s Crossroads Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bill's memory may be given to the Blair/Clearfield Association for the Blind, 300, 5th Ave., Altoona, PA 16602.
