Andrew Brumbaugh, a CHS freshman, will be heading to the Kenneth E. Behring National History Day (NHD) Contest from June 13 to 17 at the University of Maryland.

Central (15-10) is in the quarterfinals of the state playoffs today, June 10. The Dragons, runners-up in District 6, will play Redbank Valley, champions of District 9.

The Claysburg-Kimmel softball team fell short of defending its District 6 Class A title but continue its march toward a state championship.
