Dollar General Snowplow Dispute Set for July Hearing

Last year, the Williamsburg Borough council placed a lien against the Dollar General store in Williamsburg after council stated that the store failed to pay a bill for snow removal.

Council stated at the June 1 regular borough council meeting that the $42.90 snow removal dispute has now escalated to a court hearing and the ordering of a sheriff’s sale of the Dollar General property. The hearing will be on July 13. The bill is now over $3,700 including the borough’s legal fees.
