The Great 1963 Airport Safe Robbery

Jon W. Keim tells his story about the airport safe robbery in Martinsburg, Pennsylvania in 1963. He was a firefighter for 68 years and fire chief for 12 years. He and other Martinsburg firefighters responded to a report of a safe being stolen at the Martinsburg airport and helped catch one of the thieves. Mr. Keim told the story to the Herald from his favorite recliner in his home on Woodlawn Avenue in Martinsburg.
