PHYLLIS L. (WHITAKER) GREEN

Phyllis L. (Whitaker) Green, 89, a resident of Providence Place of Dover, formerly of Hummelstown, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2020.

She was born on Feb. 12, 1931, in Clappertown, daughter of the late George and Mildred Whitaker.

She had been a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Hershey; and she enjoyed cooking and gardening.

Phyllis is survived by: son, Martyn W. Green of Manchester; son, Eric T. (Tammy) Green of Corning, N.Y .; daughter, Glenda (Bruce) Cash of East Berlin; grandchildren: Curt, Steph, Tom, Lane and Simone; and great-grandchildren: Skyler, Alex, Myles and Ben.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore L.R. Green; son, Thomas T. Green; and brothers: Pat and George Whitaker, Jr.

A private funeral was held on Monday, June 15. Interment was in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to: Grane Hospice York, 1010 Plymouth Road, York, PA 17402.
