The Bedford County Technical Center recently announced its award and scholarship winners.
The BCTC had two students from the Northern Bedford County School District in its senior class. Those students were: Marissa Ebersole, Culinary Arts; and Danielle Miller, Cosmetology
Marissa Ebersole won two awards.
The Outstanding Senior Award is sponsored by the Bedford Moose Lodge #480 and is given to the outstanding senior in each program at the BCTC.
The 2020 Outstanding Seniors Award winners are:
Agriscience – Kylee Cessna
Automotive Technology – Paytience Forney
Biotechnology – Jaden Perrin
Building Construction – Seth Price
Cosmetology – Faith Cogan
Culinary Arts – Marissa Ebersole
Health Assistant – Kassidy Clark
Welding – Layne Defibaugh
There are two National Technical Honor Society Scholarship winner sponsored by Gary Shetter Nationwide Insurance, and those winners are: Kylee Cessna and Shellbe Figard.
The three students selected by the BCTC for the Bedford County Scholastic Hall of Fame are: Kylee Cessna (Academic); Priscilla Everly (Vocational); and Chaddie Kidd (STEM).
The ACM Presidential Scholarship is awarded to Kassidy Clark.

The Pennsylvania Builders Association (PBA) awards PBA Skills Certificates to the following Building Construction students: Gary Bowser, Coy Bridges, Ryan Byerley, Mason Cessna, Landon Hoover, Travis Kendall, Darren Mowery, Seth Price, and Paxton Sipes.
The Challenge Program, sponsored at the BCTC by Corle Building Systems, awards five cash awards to seniors in five categories.
Those winners are:

Brighton Williams – Academic Improvement
Tre Dawson – Attendance
Jaden Perrin – STEM
Cole Tew – Community Service
There were more than 35 awards and scholarships given out this year that combined were worth more than $10,000.
