Bedford County EMA Urges Residents to Use Masks

Bedford County’s Emergency Management Agency (EMA) director said he’s concerned that politics is getting in the way of people protecting themselves and their fellow residents from the coronavirus and COVID-19.
“Bedford county people are good people,” said David E. Cubbison, the county EMA director. “They care about their neighbors. When there are floods and fires and train wrecks, they come out and help. They care, they provide, they help. But now politics is polluting this and people are thinking politically about something that is not political,” he said.
