The Roaring Spring Lions Club held a Banner Exchange on Friday, June 26. John Harker (right) of the Roaring Spring Lions Club is the outgoing governor of District 14. The new district governor is James Foresco (left) of the Williamsburg Lions Club. John Harker, district governor representing the Roaring Spring Lions Club, held his final event on Friday, June 26, at the Lions Club at Shawnee Park, Roaring Spring.
The event was an appreciation picnic for all who supported him this past year from District 14. Approximately 60 people attended this event. Happy Hollow Restaurant catered the event.
The District Governor Banner was also exchanged and went to the Williamsburg Lions Club, where the next district governor, James Foresco, is a member of. June 30 of each year is the official date that the district governor's term ends.
