Curfew Enforced in Towns

Martinsburg Borough Council has voted to accept a bid of $50,840 for the installation of pumps, piping and other equipment necessary to tie the town’s two new wells into the borough water system.

A curfew was put into effect today in Martinsburg Borough. Teenagers are to be off the streets by 11 p.m. or midnight each day depending on their ages. Mayor Richard Moore explained that it was intended to curb the number of teens in the streets and alleys late at night.
