IRENE M. MUSSER

Williamsburg

Irene M. Musser, 94, of Williamsburg, passed away early Friday morning, July 3, 2020, at The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg.

She was born on March 13, 1926, in Greenwood, daughter of the late William H. and Hester A. (Focht) Taylor. On May 18, 1946, she married Joseph W. Musser in Greenwood. He preceded her in death on Nov. 23, 2015.

Surviving are two daughters: Ginger A. Michelone of Williamsburg and Joy A. Hoover (Jeff) of Curryville; a son, Randy B. (Lea Ann) of Williamsburg; six grandchildren: Adam Michelone, Andy Hoover, Kristy Myers, Jennifer Norris, Jessica Sprowls and Nicole DeFurio; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Marian Fluke of Altoona; and a brother, Thomas R. Taylor of Martinsburg.

She was preceded in death by two grandsons: Josiah Musser and Jason Michelone; a son-law-law, Ted Michelone; a sister, Barbara Fry; and a brother, William J. Taylor.

Irene was a 1944 graduate of Altoona High School, and drove a school van for IUO8 for over 20 years.

She was a long-time member of Williamsburg Independent Bible Baptist Church, rural Williamsburg, where she taught Sunday school and Bible school for more than 50 years.

Irene loved spending time with her family, quilting, knitting and reading.

A private funeral service will be officiated by Pastor Joseph D. Weber and private interment will follow at Sparr Cemetery, rural Williamsburg. Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., http://www.bolgerfuneralhome.com, Williamsburg.

Memorial contributions in memory of Irene may be given to Williamsburg Independent Bible Baptist Church, 1181 Lower Clover Creek Road, Williamsburg, PA 16693.
