HEATHER R. METZ

Heather Rena’ Metz, 46, of Altoona formerly of Williamsburg, joined her mother in heaven on Thursday evening, July 9, 2020, at home.

She was born on Sept. 28, 1973, in Altoona, daughter of the late Mary Lora (Booterbaugh) Metz, who passed away on March 29, 2006, and Stanley Rex Metz of Williamsburg.

Surviving are many aunts and uncles including: Melissa R. Fetzer of Martinsburg, Jane L. (Ronald) Short of Glendale, Ariz., Martha A. (Dale) Metz of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Myra L. Stevens of Everett, Mary Lou (Ed) Meshock of Lebanon, Paul (Anita) Booterbaugh of Lilly; friend/caregiver, Danette Lee of Altoona; longtime family friend, Wilma Milosevich of Uniontown; and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by three aunts: Rita Pullen, Susan Booterbaugh and Gladys Laudermilch; and four uncles: John Stevens, John Booterbaugh, Elliott Booterbaugh and Warren Laudermilch.

Heather was a 1994 graduate of Altoona High School. She loved spending time with her family, her housemates, long car rides and also enjoyed participating in the Adult Center for Exceptional Learning (ACEL) program.

A private graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg. Pastor Tiffany E. Marvich will officiate.
