Nichole Musselman, standout softball pitcher for Claysburg-Kimmel High School, was scheduled to travel to Texas to play in the national girls’ fastpitch softball tournament in August. Musselman, 16, was a pitcher for the Bellefonte Bells, who played in a 16-and-under softball league. Musselman was the winning pitcher as C-K edged Westmont Hilltop, 1-0, for the District 6-A softball title on June 1. She struck out 10 while allowing just two hits.
