Workers Needed for Cannery

The Blue Mountain Canneries is in urgent need of workers at the Martinsburg plant during the coming corn-canning season. Management is expecting a big season.

Sgt. Ira Dean Butler, 27 of Martinsburg, has been honorably discharged from the Army after four years and four months of service. The young man had portions of two fingers and the thumb of the left hand blown away during the invasion in France on July 2 of last year.
