Linda Fae Greenleaf, 71 of Friedens, Somerset County, went home to meet her Lord and Savior on Friday morning, July 31, 2020, at her home following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Irvin K. and Marjorie Carolyn (Guyer) Honsaker. On Oct. 11, 1969, she married David N. Greenleaf at the Martinsburg Mennonite Church.

Surviving are her beloved husband of 50 years; a son, Brian D. (Kimberly) Greenleaf of Canonsburg; two daughters: Suzanne R. (Craig) Shoff of Somerset and Michelle L. (Justin) Yachere of Friedens; seven grandchildren: Tyler, Braedon and Willie Greenleaf, Ian and Isaac Shoff and Lucas and Emma Yachere; and a sister, Marlene Kay Keith of York.

She was preceded in death by a brother, I. Ronald Honsaker.

Linda was a 1966 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg, and a member of Rockwood Alliance Church, where she was very active in the children’s ministries.

She was employed as a home health aide for United Cerebral Palsy of Johnstown, with more than 20 years of service. Linda loved spending time with her family and enjoyed gardening, reading and taking walks.

A private funeral service will be held at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg (www.bolgerfuneralhome.com). Pastor Timothy Dietrich will officiate. The interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.

A public celebration of life service for Linda will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2020, at the Rockwood Alliance Church.
