Ordinance No. 2020-624 – An Ordinance of the Borough of Martinsburg, Blair County, PA Electing to Amend its Police Pension Plan Administered by the Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement System Pursuant to Article IV of the Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement Law
Notice is hereby given that the Borough of Martinsburg intends to enact Ordinance No. 2020-624 Electing to Amend its Police Pension Plan. By adoption of this Ordinance, the Borough of Martinsburg agrees that the Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement System shall administer and provide certain benefits as set forth in the Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement System defined benefit plan adoption agreement and all terms and provisions contained therein, and the Ordinance provides that the benefits set forth in the Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement System defined benefit plan adoption agreement shall be effective as of the date specified in said adoption agreement. The Ordinance will be considered for adoption at the regular meeting of Martinsburg Borough Council on September 8, 2020 at 7:00 PM.
A complete copy of this entire Ordinance shall be available for inspection at the Martinsburg Borough Municipal Building and the Law Library at the Blair County Courthouse, Hollidaysburg, PA.
