MARTINSBURG BOROUGH COUNCIL VACANCY

A vacancy on the Martinsburg Borough Council has occurred due to a resignation for a change in residency. Any person interested in serving on the council and who has lived in the borough for a minimum of one year and is a registered voter is asked to submit a letter of interest to the council by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2020. Notice is hereby given that on the 19th day of June, 2020, the Petition of Jessica D. Camerer was filed in the Blair County Court of Common Pleas at No. 2020 GN 1376, seeking to change name of minor child from Lillian Jane Parsons to Lane Robert Joseph Parsons. The Court has fixed August 26, 2020, at 10:30 AM in Courtroom #3 in the Blair County Courthouse, at 423 Allegheny Street, Hollidaysburg, PA as the date for hearing of the Petition. All persons interested in the proposed change of name may appear and show cause, if any they have, why the Petition should not be granted. Reference #2020 GN 1376.
