Northern Bedford High School is undergoing an extension renovation on the exterior of the school involving new brick work and installation of energy efficient windows. The district has pushed its start date for the beginning of the school year to Sept. 14.
The Northern Bedford School Board met to discuss monthly business issues on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2020.
The meeting was held in the school's auditorium and participants were able to choose attending either in person or via Zoom. In-person participants were limited to 10 persons in an effort to practice social distancing.
The school board moved to approve changes to the 2020-21 school calendar. As part of those changes the first day of school will be Sept. 14, 2020, with teachers returning Sept. 9, 2020. This is approximately two weeks later than other schools in the area. This change was made...
